Banka Banka Station Videos

In 2002 as part of the planning and development of the Nyinkka Nyunyu Art and Culture Centre in Tennant Creek Warumungu men visited the Banka Banka Station to record their memories of the times when they worked there as stockmen.

Aboriginal people from across the region lived and worked at the Banka Banka Station for several decades. Families lived on the station, children went to school there, and men and women worked at the station in several jobs. Behind the station, many more Aboriginal families lived in camps.
